LTGs are the backbone of our high school community and we hope every student will participate in them.
LTGs are comprised of 2-3 students (same gender) who desire to become a better follower of Jesus.
LTGs are a simple way for students to develop a vital spiritual walk in step with the Holy Spirit, a deeper relationship with God, and an authentic friendship with another person. Students are free to form an LTG with any other student(s).
Once a week, students in an LTG will gather with 2-3 other groups in the home of an adult leader. While students can choose their group partner(s), each group is assigned to a cluster.
Groups look different to some degree, but each pair or trio takes time to ask the confession questions, share about how God is speaking to them through the Word, and praying for friends who don’t yet know Christ.
First, pray that God will show you someone with whom you can begin this relationship. If you don't find anyone, email your name to John Stone and he will set you up with someone.
Students determine both when and where to meet. Figure out what time works best for each person in the group.
There is only one requirement: you must hunger to grow spiritually. We encourage each LTG member to read 25-30 chapters of Scripture each week (4 chapters or so a day), but there is grace offered if this is not completed. Each week, groups determine which 25-30 chapters they want to read. If any group member does not complete this reading, they confess to the group. The LTG then repeats the same reading the following week. The group reads the same section of Scripture until everyone shows up with the section completely read!
Meeting times vary.
Meets Sundays, 6.30p in the Activity Center.
