FAQ
+
- [Q] How does Cambodia fit with Bethel’s over strategy for impact globally?
- [A] Cambodia fully encompasses Bethel’s strategy to 1) Aid Captives, 2) Build Churches, and 3) Change Culture. We believe God has called us to help free slaves caught in sex trafficking, restore and redeem survivors and perpetrators with the love of christ, educate about exploitation, equip and connect Christ-followers to combat human trafficking, and demolish cultural strongholds that enable and perpetuate slavery.
- [Q] I want to learn more. How can I engage and seek where God may want me to get involved?
- [A] Bethel plans to take several short-term mission teams over the next couple years. The purpose of these trips will be to increase engagement, awareness, and exposure in the Bethel community to the challenge of human trafficking and sex slavery globally. These trips will help guide and advance planned investments in infrastructure targeted to rescue, restore, and train exploited children caught in the grasp of this evil.
- [Q] With Cambodia half a world away, how do we plan to stay close to the investments made there in country?
- [A] Bethel plan’s to partner with Agape International Missions (AIM) based in Cambodia to help advance the work that they have started in Svay Pak.
