Pray:
- Pray for Bethel members to become more involved in the lives of local veterans
- Pray for open doors to help meet the spiritual needs of veterans
- Pray for local veterans who struggle with depression, anger, and suicidal thoughts
- Pray peace for the families who have loved ones serving in the military
- Pray protection and care over local military members currently serving around the world
- Pray for wisdom about how to best help and support our local veterans
Do:
- Form and lead a Veteran’s small group or bible study
- Join the Bethel Veteran’s Support group that works to plan and complete events and activities for local veterans and their families, while helping them integrate into the Bethel body
- Participate in a men’s outreach breakfast for Veterans
- Help collect and mail care packages for active military members
- Assist with a veteran’s focused work day (at Veteran’s individual homes, the Walla Walla Veteran’s Hospital, etc)
- Help Bethel plan and carry out a Veteran’s Day program or activity
- Help Bethel conduct pre-deployment workshops for military personnel
