Jesus Loves the Little Children (Mark 10:13-16)
Leaders, we are trying something new this summer. This summer’s sermon questions will be designed to:
- Help us study the Bible: individually, as a group, one-on-one, and/or as a family.
- Draw out personal answers, applications, and insights.
- Challenge us to walk as disciples.
- Remind us to engage with non-believers.
- Be easily replicated with any seeker.
As a result, there will be no “answers” since they can be personal and varied. We are going to test these same questions for each Sunday. We may need to change as we go. Please do provide any ideas/feedback to Kelli Templeton.
Here are the questions for this week:
Read Mark 10:13-16 and the sermon outline. Discuss the following:
- What is the big idea of the passage? (Consider what you would share with someone who didn’t hear the sermon.)
- What does it teach you about God?
- What does it teach you about people and yourself?
- Do you believe this passage is from God? If so, how would He want you to change?
- From this passage, what about Jesus could be attractive to those who don’t know Him? Who will you share Him with this week?
Assignment: Read Mark 10:17-31. What happened to the “BOY” in verse 20?
