Welcome to Bethel
Allow me to introduce myself...my name is Dale Shaver and it is my goal to help all who are interested connect to Bethel in a meaningful way (more on this below). So, with that in mind, consider this page as a sort of "Quick Start" guide for connecting at Bethel. You can also view our calendar, which lists our worship services and ministry events.

-
Step 1: Visit Bethel's website (You're already done with this one). Here you will find Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), service times and locations, contact information, and much more.
-
Step 2: Visit a weekend service. We are one church that meets at multiple times in multiple locations. See our Locations/Services page for the campus nearest you.
-
Step 3: Stop by the "Starting Place." The "Starting Place" is just off the main foyer (look for the sign hanging from the ceiling). Here you'll get a chance to meet me, Dale, as well as others at Bethel who can help you connect. Usually, you can find Pastor Dave just after the services.
-
Step 4: Find and join a small group. Bethel small groups (you may hear us refer to them as GROW groups, and you can read about that later) are designed to provide opportunities for community, platforms for action (in the Tri-Cites and beyond as well as within our own church), and means of life transformation.
You may be wondering, "is that all there is to connecting at Bethel?"
And the answer is no! Each of these steps is merely a potential means for helping you follow Jesus Christ. Our purpose is not to have a website, or to have weekend services or Snapshots classes. Our purpose isn't even to get you into a small group. Our purpose is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. A disciple is a follower. We believe Jesus is the King of the universe and that One Day judgment will come. We want to be judged righteous on that Day and the only way to get there is through belief in the person, the work, and the words of Jesus. We want you to be judged righteous on that Day also. And so, we offeer this website, weekend services, Snapshots classes, and small groups as means for you to follow Jesus. Do you want to follow Jesus? If so, tag along with us. One day you might find yourself inviting others to "tag along" as you follow Jesus.
